TERRI BUCKLER

ABOUT ME

Terri is a life-long resident of St. Mary’s County. She attended Mother Catherine Spalding School and St. Mary’s Ryken High School.

 

Terri earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Towson State University, and her Master of Arts Degree in School Administration and Supervision from Bowie State University.

 

This school year marks Terri’s thirtieth year working for St. Mary’s County Public Schools. During her career she has taught at Leonardtown Elementary, Leonardtown Middle, Benjamin Banneker Elementary, and Piney Point Elementary. She has experience teaching second through eighth grade. Currently she serves as an Instructional Resource Teacher at Captain Walter Francis Duke Elementary School. In this role she mentors and supports teachers, instructs small groups of students, and serves as a liaison between central office and the staff at her school regarding areas of curriculum and instruction. Terri is a member of the Standards Based Report Card Committee, a FLOW mentor, and a member of the Educator Effectiveness Academy.

 

Terri and her husband Willie have two sons, Bryan and Blake. They both attended Mother Catherine Spalding School. Their family’s involvement with the school serves as some of the most memorable years of their lives.
